A Little Backstory...

What Gall! Design & Marketing was founded as a sole proprietorship in Jacksonville, Florida in the late 90's. At the heart of the company is our founder, Colleen Gall.

Colleen has over 14 years of experience in graphic design and marketing. Working with big names like Cingular Wireless, Coca-Cola & Entercom Communications. As an undergraduate at the University of Florida she was the first student in her college to receive an internship at the United States Olympic Committee. In 1998, she moved to Colorado for the summer and was hooked. Upon graduation, Colleen worked for the NBA team the Orlando Magic and the IHL team the Solar Bears in Orlando, Florida.

Colleen relocated to her hometown, Jacksonville, Florida, and pursued a career in graphic design, not content to let her newly minted marketing skills sit on a shelf she actively pursued event staff work in northeast Florida, working with traveling events throughout the region. She was promoted to a tour management position with Cingular Wireless in Atlanta, Georgia and traveled with Cingular Wireless throughout the eastern United States representing the brand at concerts and sporting events culminating in the 2002 NCAA Men's Basketball Finals in Atlanta, Georgia.

After March Maddness she landed a tour management position with Coca-Cola's Reading is FUNdamental StoryTraveler Tour, again taking to the road this time in rural Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana to get kids excited about reading by passing out free books, performing interactive storytelling, reading related magic and puppet shows at schools and select retail outlets.

She relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2002 and has returned to her graphic design roots working with a Entercom Communications a multi-brand radio conglomerate in a market graphics position and later moving into corporate graphics working with numerous stations across the country.

In 2004 she moved on to a national commercial real estate brokerage to further hone her marketing strategy skills and launch What Gall! Design & Marketing a multidiscipline firm specializing in print design, coordinated marketing strategy and graphics production.
